Water column ratings

How P.U. coating affects the weather proofing of Caribee tents.
The water column test measures the level of PU coating, which is being used for making nylon and polyester tents waterproof. Eg: 1000mm, means that there can be 1000mm water pressure per 1cm2 on the tent fabric, before it starts leaking through.
From 800mm on the material can really be called waterproof however it’s better to have a higher value, because there is a possibility that the coating wears out and the value decreases.

The internal no-see-um mesh bedroom reduces weight promotes ventilation in those hot summer nights or take off the fly and this tent doubles as a mozzie dome in tropical climates.
The extended vestibule provides additional storage space whist pre-tied guy ropes help make set up quick and easy.

All Caribee products are made with the highest attention to detail and are guaranteed to be free of defects in workmanship and materials for a period of 3 years from the date of purchase. This warranty does not include normal wear and tear, misuse, improper care or damage by a common carrier or third parties to our products.

The Caribee warranty is not an international warranty and is only valid in the original country of purchase.
