a. In constant use the battery lasts 3 – 6 months. battery in deactivated modes lasts 2 – 3 years. The tag uses a CR2477 lithium battery.
q. As the battery weakens does the distance range decrease?
a. Yes the distance range will gradually decrease.
q. How will i know when my battery needs changing?
a. Replace the battery if your leash will not connect to your mobile or if the light on the leash does not flash red or green when pressing the on/off switch. the next version of the leash it app will have a battery monitor.
q. Will luggage leash work if my phone is in airplane mode?
a. Luggage leash will only work in airplane mode if you turn on bluetooth after switching to airplane mode.
